Susan and Julie from Cornfields Olderhill Kennels have magnificent Kangal puppies available:
4 boys and 2 girls born on 17 February 2024 (ready to go at 8 weeks after deworming, vaccinations, and vet checks)
2 older girls born on 24 November 2023 (ready now)
Our Kangals are raised in our home, surrounded by our milk goats, other pets, and visiting children. They are calm, gentle, highly intelligent, and wonderful guardians. They quickly bond with their new families, often running around and playing within minutes.
Kangals are known for their quiet nature, only barking when necessary, and with a low, melodious voice.
Kangal vs Anatolian Shepherd:
Kangals are an ancient Turkish breed, bred to stay with and protect livestock and people. They are large, light gold dogs with darker muzzles, dark ears, and curled tails.
Anatolian Shepherds are a mix of Kangals and other Turkish breeds, typically smaller, finer-built, and lighter in colour.
